Peanut Blossoms

Combine flour baking soda and salt and set aside,

Cream sugars shortening and peanut butter,

Add egg milk and vanilla and mix,

Stir in dry ingredients,

Shape dough into balls using rounded teaspoonful for each and roll in sugar,

Place on ungreased cookie sheets,

Bake at 375°F for 10–12 minutes,

Immediately press a chocolate kiss into center of each cookie so cookie cracks around edge,

Cool on racks.
