1 Mix flour soda and salt and set aside,
Cream butter sugar and brown sugar,
Add eggs water and vanilla and beat well,
Blend in dry ingredients gradually and mix thoroughly,
Chill dough at least 2 hours,
Enclose each chocolate mint wafer in about 1 Tablespoon chilled dough forming ball,
Place on ungreased cookie sheet about 2 inches apart,
Bake at 375°F for 10–12 minutes,
For refrigerator cookies shape dough into rolls 1 1/2 inch in diameter wrap in wax paper and chill at least 4 hours then slice and bake placing mint wafer between two slices,
Bake as above.
