This was the recipe for the punch that was served on September 12, 1953 when your Granddaddy and I were married. I also made it for Ann Marie's, Lori's and Lisa's wedding receptions.

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Make syrup by boiling together for 10 minutes the sugar and 2 cups of water.
  2. Add the tea and juices and chill for 2 - 3 hours. Strain if desired.
  3. Add the cherries, water and ginger ale.
  4. Pour over block of ice in punch bowl or over ice cubes. Serve.
